DGT au naturalle!

A very light coat of amber, back sanded out will really make the grain pop. This works with other colors as well, you see LOTS of ash bodies in PS this way . For Gibby's it's true the Naturals were typically reserved for the most flawless tops and to an extent sunbursts came along to hide the less dramatic edge figure ( non 10 top in PRS speak) . In PRS I find the predominance in clear coat naturals is in woods outside of Maple.

As an aside, hanging out in this forum has had quite an impact on my perception of what an “affordable” guitar can be priced at. I used to get sticker shock at a price like that, now I’m like, “That’s actually quite reasonable. Should I move some money around and make it mine?” 😅
