Stunning finish, but it's really all about the tone

The Stratoblaster and all the brass and fixed trem really make this a true tonal masterpiece. If you want the sounds of Garcia's '72 Aliigator, or John's Summer '23 tone, this is the perfect guitar for it.

And, it still does all the Silver Sky magic for everything else... Those incredible single coils!

Wildly differently constructed guitar though… a PRS version would be akin to a PS.

So judging on the price’s of those available for sale now… The JM/Dead tax is only like, an additional $20-25,000

That looks awesome. I didn’t realize that the grain would so visible on the dead spec model, I thought it was just the usual finish. Very nice!
