David Grissom Tuning.

Just bought a DGT, was wondering does Mr Grissom tune down half a step?

It depends on the song. When he tunes down he uses heavier strings than normal (.012 instead of .011). But based on his lessons, I think that mostly he plays standard tuning.

He's coming to the U.K. Soon but only one date in Scotland, way too far for me to travel.

This is so not what I expected from this thread. I thought I was getting a video - maybe even a compilation, hoping against hope - of DGh tuning his guitar.
