No 3 on the comprehensive review list This time round, I am featuring my 2021 Hollowbody II Piezo in Custom Scarlet Red colour.
The Custom 24 piezo I featured last time is my go to for electric driven gigs, but if I have an unplugged kind of situation, the hollow construction and ultimately better piezo tone of the HBII works better and the warm Hollowbody tones go well over an acoustic rhythm.
I was very glad to pick this one up as I tend to find Hollowbody II’s a touch neck heavy but this one was perfect. Had it over a little over 18 months now and these are my thoughts.
And I absolutely love the colour. An extremely deep red in real life. A great contrast to my Rasberry Archtop.
