You know a band is clicking when you can make practicing CHRISTMAS music fun!

We have a gig coming up that is at a vendors event called Christmas Village in Philadelphia that happens every year (well, not last year due to covid restrictions). We did it in 2019. Hopefully it will be as successful as that one.

I love the season, and the music that goes along with it. We always had fun with Christmas tunes. Eric Clapton did a nice guitarist’s version of White Christmas recently, and even the standards are great for putting people in the spirit. No grinchiness in my game :)

Now that Angela is going electric, you can play the dual melody lines for this one!;)
I know that it is sacrilegious as it is both the G and the F company, but I lent Angela my backup amp, an Epiphone Blues Custom 30 so she could saturate her clean with some tube tone. She was instantly in love. Is actually thinking about using it, instead of her acoustic for this upcoming Christmas Village gig. That amp is really "bright"....a bit too bright for my liking without either modding it, or having the treble set so low it is almost ridiculous. BUT, for that tele twang, it just "fit". Well, I might be out of an amp for a little while as she made me leave it with her to get used to. lmao!!
