Building a Bamboo Guitar

I have a nasty habit of getting lost in YouTube by just watching random videos that pop up at the end of whatever I was watching. I originally started watching videos about Marines catching cheating wives, then moving on to something about the 1975 Mr. Olympia Competition, and somehow ended up on people making guitars out of whatever they can find. This one was pretty interesting, although annoying that it's sped up, dude built a guitar out of recycled bamboo. Don't know how it sounds, but it looks like it could have been a fun project :rock:

Being as it is sped up, just turn down the volume and run through some scales and arpeggios for 11 minutes, lol.

Wild! I have speculated about this in the past. I would love to hear a bamboo guitar from someone like PRS build a bamboo guitar (especially an acoustic).

Me too, lol, luckily I do have a couple friends with complete woodworking shops.

My project guitar is getting pieced together slowly, I just got a supply on some nice black walnut (free!!), But now I kinda want to see how it would turn out if I used bamboo.
