Archon Information

Hey guys,

Long time lurker, first time poster.
I am in the market for a new 100w Archon head. The one answer I can't seem to find is does the tranformer have multi taps?
Or would I have to buy a new tranny (living outside of the USA)?
I understand I can use a step down, but really - I dont want to lug one of those around.
Any info would be appreciated. Hoping someone that owns one can chime in here.

IIRC, the Archon power section is not universal, but maybe it is and they just don't advertise it.

The Archon head is sold by Anderton's in the UK (according to their Youtube vid). Where are you located? You should be able to find a local source, but naturally you'll pay local prices. OTOH, you get a local warranty - taking a US-made Archon out of the country will probably void the warranty, and shipping to and fro would be a big hassle.
