Never having done this before

Other than setting play height with the studs and saddle intonation do you need to do any work to the saddles when installing? Like notching the edge?

Not in my experience.

Install, set intonation, good to go. I did also have to on a MannMade version lower it as it was slightly taller than the stock bridge.

Rule Number 1: Do not turn a single screw if the strings are at tension.

Otherwise, what they said assuming we're talking the PRS brand bridge and a guitar with 10" fretboard radius.
