Well... I did charcoal/black diluted 1st stain with a 400 grit sand down. Step 2 was green. Step 3 was a yellow stain on top.

Only way I could have gotten closer would be to mix navy blue with yellow added until I got possibly closer...

No satin nitro sprayed yet. But here's a look see.

Using alcohol based leather dyes.

I probably should have also not sanded the black quite as much, but it had faint bands in between the major grain lines.
It was a "dirty" look a little.
 
Okay. So I duplicated the recipe for the tremolo cover.
Then I got a wild hair and back sanded them both lightly. Then I applied another thin coat of yellow dye! I think I GOT IT!!!!!!!! WHEEE!!! Now all I need is to black the backs and then the satin nitro spraying begins!
