Hello, I was hoping somebody here might be able to assist me. I have a 2011 Custom 22 equipped with a set of uncovered 59/09 pickups. They have traditional rounded bobbins, unlike the uncovered pickups PRS is producing today, I know the newer pickups cannot be covered due to the squared bobbins. My question is will a set of covers (aftermarket or PRS) fit my pickups without issue? If so, does anyone have any recommendations? Price isn't an issue. I'm looking for a chrome set. Thank you.

AFAIK, the traditional rounded bobbin pickups fit fine in any of the "normal" pickup covers. I had a good experience with and therefore recommend Philadelphia Luthier, but I'm sure others offer similar products. Make sure to get the holes for the pole pieces just right! So many variations...

I put a cover on a round bobbin 59/09, no problem. I couldn't even tell you what brand it was, it was just kicking around. 49.2mm is the spacing you want.

Seymour Duncan make nickel ones that are a perfect fit.
