Hi does anyone know if the wide thin neck profile will be the same on the new non anniversary se cu 24 as the anniversary models?

Unless they abruptly decided to redesign the wide thin profile, yes. It should be the same.

I'm not sure honestly. My understanding is that the 30th Anny SE 24s technically did not have a wide/thin neck carve even though it lists that way on the products page. I can't remember exactly which it has (iirc it was supposed to be similar to the old Standard carve). So it's possible they have gone back to true wide/thin carve.

If it were me, I would just try to get my hands on one and see if the carve is comfortable. On paper, I like the wide/fat better than any other carve. But once I got my S2 with the Pattern Regular, the wide fat on my SE just seems so chunky.
