DIY - PRS 53/10 Pickups Restoration

I would love to see more PRS-specific DIYs in the Forums. I'm eager to know more about working with PRS guitars and components. Anyway, here is my first contribution to a 'DIY' conversation. I post more as time allows (Phase 2 tuner tear down, Phase 3 tuner tear down, Phase 3 tweaked tuner tear...

    PRS and Boogie

I'm borrowing this MkIII so I thought I'd take some pictures with my PRS It's too loud and too heavy to be practical at home but it sure is a thing of beauty. Fully loaded with all the options.

53/10 pickups masquerading as "P22" in early P22 guitars?

I know that the 53/10 pickups went away almost as quickly as they arrived--rumor has it they were taken out of the lineup by the end of 2012 (this is my educated-research guess). Even PRSh & crew are seen in many videos from that time introducing the new P22 model as having 53/10 pickups (with...

John Cordy plays my 53/10 limited

John has a YouTube channel where he talks gear - pedals, amps, modellers, guitars etc. Discusses technique, breaks down parts of songs, or just plays a nice tune for the hell of it. He lives about an hour from me and I've been suggesting he borrows my PRS for a little while. Anyway, this past...
