Did you have a PRS 30 years ago?
Sorry, as a french guy, my english is, sometimes, not very accurate ^^
I meant that, in almost 30 years of playing the guitar (and some years, not playing very much), this is my first own PRS.
I had the luck to try one (probably cu 22 but not sure) in the 90s, I found it awesome but for the rotating selector. Nonetheless, that was an insignificant flaw compared to the overall awesomeness of this instrument.
The price also was a huge problem.
I fell in love some month ago with the may 2016 gotm so I started enquiring the 509 until I found one in violet-purple ish and the money to buy it
Tone wise, I had just a little hour with her tonight and unplugged.
She sounds fantastic, even if she needs a little set up to be really to my taste.
I do this tomorrow and then plug her in my good old marshall (30th anniv) and get some rock n roll out of this beauty
