McCartys... Let's see 'em!

So is there a distinguishing attribute that makes a McCarty a McCarty?

Generally going for a more 'classic/vintage' vibe and a 'nod' to the Great Ted McCarty who was behind guitars like the Les Paul and 335 and have a 'thicker' back than the more 'modern' Custom 24 and its 22 fret version.

I must admit, with all the different iterations, I really don't know what makes a McCarty a McCarty other than the name. I have my McRosie, which says it's a McCarty, but also a Hollowbody Spruce, which seems like it might be a McCarty HB, or is it a Spruce topped HB I?

I have the brother to the top pic. Lovely guitar!

My 2021 594 10-top.

No real backstory here. I've always wanted a PRS and had the good fortune to be able to procure one from Moore Music in Evansville back in November of '21. It plays beautifully and sounds glorious. I'm very lucky to be able to own it.

Anybody changed tuners to the Vintage lockers?
I know some choose to go Phase III but I thought I'd keep the original look.
Shall do this tonight...

Affirmative. One the Joe Walsh Limited, and the HBII 594. I did Phase III on a previous CAB/nitro 594, but didn't care for the impressions left by the vintage tuners on the back of the headstock.
