Dumblestyle Overdrive Pedals... your thoughts

This one sounds really good to me too, and seeing that his sky blue is the closest thing to a Dumble I have tried yet, I ordered one. It should be here by Monday, and I will make some A/B/C clips of the Quinn, the Sky Blue, and the Simble.

I'm going to order one, too. The video shows it sounds good with an old Marshall, and since my HXDA isn't far off that design, I figure it'll be a pretty good pedal for me as well.

Right now my priority is elsewhere, but in a couple of weeks it's a go.

Les,
Listen to the clips when I make them. It will be through a fender Super reverb, and I will A/B with the Quinn. My one worry. Its PCB. They do not make a hand wired one. My other Mad Professors sound so much better in the hand wired versions, that its hard to believe this one will sound as good. I can get some very Dumble like tones with both my Handwired little green wonder, and hand wired Blue sky overdrive (My favorite pedal so far) I am really looking forward to see how this one stacks up with those two side by side. I am hoping for the best! There is a 14 day return policy, so if it does not sound at least as good (Or Dumble like I should say) as the other two, back it goes.

No worry for me.

Not looking for the ultimate tone, just something I might use on a track that needed to go in that general direction. I honestly prefer the HXDA's natural sound (it's more "me"), this would simply be an alternative.

And at the price, it's a low-risk kind of deal.

But first, the priority is the acoustic treatment for my studio that's in process. I've gotten the first few pieces, and so far so good. More to come.

Zip on the Simble for me. I was informed they are back ordered today. I canceled my order. I dont really need one, so I will pick one up sometime in the future.

I just looked at the going prices for a Dumble-assuming you can find one of the 300 or so remaining for sale...

Yeah! Tag had a real one recently, and made some clips of it. The thing sounded really good. But it's a lot of dough to tie up on one amp.

Keep it down, but buy a Quinn TKT183. They sound exactly the same, because they are exactly the same.

I perceive a slight problem, hardly worth mentioning, actually...

waiting for our second turn:

You can get a KILLER Dumble for around 45 K. If it were not for Quinn amps, that is a fair price to pay for the tones you get IMO. There is nothing else out there that will do it, and you will most likely be done with amplifiers for life.
