I always have to check these threads when changing pickup brands, as I do it so infrequently, which wire is what goes where etc

If we can come to a solution, I will definitely post it here. I believe this issue may be more common than I initially thought, as you can see in these videos (and in the comments section):

If we manage to resolve this problem, many will certainly benefit from the information we can provide.

I'm sure it's a simple solution. I guess the ground loop or one of the pickup wires was reversed. I will go over it tomorrow

I got these directly from the Matt King at PRS in an email once I picked up my set of 85/15 TCI pickups.

Neck:
Black - Hot
White / Green - Coil Tap
Red - Ground
Orange - Chassis Ground

Bridge:
White - Hot
Black / Red - Coil Tap
Green - Ground
Orange - Chassis Ground

Neck:

Bridge:
White - Hot
Black / Red - Coil Tap
Green - Ground
Orange - Chassis Ground

So looking at this previous post I see my Neck HOT on the 5 way switch is the White wire.

The Black/Red has been used for coil splitting.

What would be the sonic effect of this?

Could this be why only the Bridge pickup sounds real nice?

I do have the 85/15 TCI pickups on a 2022 Custom 24
