Sold a couple of not so favourite guitars so I have a couple of empty hangers to fill...lol.
Seriously I just filled one want with a soapie, the next want is a semi hollow.

Not looking to break the bank but prefer a USA made model.
So thinking along the lines of S2 Vela or Mira or Singlecut.
Thoughts and pros and cons and any other suggestions very welcome!

I said it in another post.. everyone should have a Vela. Don't think twice and buy one!

Are you in the UK?

Nice.

There’s some good deals to be had on used SE HB II’s in the UK, so there maybe some your side of the puddle too.

One example -

Since you did not specify that it had to be a PRS guitar...

The ES 335 is the quintessential semi hollow guitar.
Used ones can be had for reasonable prices.
It is the guitar that invented the breed.
You can play anything on an ES 335.
Anything.

If it's too big, there is the ES 339.
They are very good too.

A very good response and yes it does not absolutely have to be a PRS.
I actually have a soft spot for the older still Gibson ES series but again trying to keep the expense under control.
That means for this instance less than four figures if possible.

They already dropped the price which means it's not moving.
Offer them $850.00. and a split on the shipping.
It has a couple of dings.
I bet they'll go for it.

Power enabling!

Already in my watch list...lol
