Not sure, Derek said he had to throw power tubes in it before he shipped it because one was bad, but he said he put in EL34's. I will pop the back this weekend to look under the hood. I am dying to find out exactly what is different to lower the output.

Turns out it does have JJ 6V6's in it......I am confused. Also it has a Celestion G12H30 anniversary 16 ohm speaker in it. I thought it would have V30 but any way it sounds good.

The chassis says Custom 50 on it and it has a full array of tubes, anyone know how they get it down to 20 watts? Do the 6V6's drop the output?

It should. But I'm not familiar with being able to switch 'down' outside of tube families like this. The EL-34 and EL-84s I could see, or 6L6 and 6V6s, but EL-34s to 6V6? Got me. :dontknow: It would be fantastic to know if that amp can interchange any tube type with a simple bias adjustment. My super Dallas can switch between EL34 and 6L6s, per the manual.
