Tremonti Pick Up Really Ceramic?

I ask because the PRS website says "Custom" and it really doesn't behave like most ceramics. It has some of the characteristic tightness, compression and clarity under a lot of gain that ceramics have. However, it is also not too dry or compressed, responds well to dynamics and has singing mids and highs that usually characterize Alnico type magnets.

It is currently my favorite bridge pick up and am just curious as to what is inside. I really don't want to tear apart any of the ones I have =D.

Thanks,
Jeff
