Stacked pots in an S2 or SE?

Anyone know of a stacked concentric 500/500 pot that will work in an S2 or SE? I used a CTS Fender style in my SE One, but that attaches to a pickguard, and the top on my S2 is a little thicker. The pots that are in there have a medium-length shaft. I don't think the short shaft CTS will work without thinning the top... which I won't do. I'm concerned the long shaft style won't fit. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
