Special SH Tone Pot for bridge only

Enjoying my new Special Semi-hollow after decades of being a Fender telecaster player.

Question. A typical telecaster mod is to pull the neck pup from the tone circuit to enable dialing back the bridge without simultaneously darkening up the neck tone.

I’m somewhat used to this capability. In my life, I can’t remember dialing back the tone on a neck pickup.

Any watch outs for the Special SH? Given all the switching and the narrowfield etc?

I want to to this on my Bernie just tone on the bridge do you have any idea how to do this?

Simple. Move the tone capacitor connection to a toggle, where the bridge pickup hot wire is going to. Job done

Edit: you will still have a tone affecting both pickups in the middle toggle position, you would have to live with it, tho

Sorry for any hassle could you possibly show me on a wiring diagram I am a dab hand at soldering but just not sure on the whole theory behind the wiring etc

And will doing this affect the 50s wiring etc

The wiring is 2 humbuckers 2 volume and one master tone 50s wiring

I want the tone to operate bridge pup only

Its gonna be a simple mod if the wiring of Bernie I found here on the forum is accurate. But like I said. The tone will still act for both pickups in the middle position. No way to make it otherwise. Unless you will change the switch to switchcraft 12015X, but that's more soldering
