Hi,
I bought a SE Silver Sky which I have had for about 3 months now. I recently change changed the strings cause I was getting a string buzz. When I took the strings off the nut came off as well. no problem I re-glued the nut and put on new strings. Now I'm getting a buzz on my D string open and fretted till about the 5th fret.
I have done neck adjustments on the truss rod, string height checks and checked the frets. everything is in order. The buzzing is coming more from the bridge. I have checked for anything loose and even restrung it a 2 nd time to see if anything helps and it is still buzzing.
I have even tried blocking the trem forward to decrease the string angle and still has a buzz.
Any suggestions? I really love this guitar but its driving me nuts trying to figure out this issue.
