"SAVED FOR EPIC NGD" O.M.F.G. I THINK...I THINK...I JUST DID A THING....

Thought I'd clarify my 594 journey to date:

594 #:
1) Core DC594 McCarty Sunburst, straight stock with original 58/15LTs---fabulous rock machine.
2) Used Core DC594 Charcoal Smokeburst; I put in BKP uncovered Mules, CTS pots and resistor taps---another fab rock machine with more hair AND JUST RIDICULOUSLY NICE SPLIT TONES.
3) Used Core DC594 Whale Blue Burst; currently in chop mode for some mad customization, I just got busy building amps this year. More to come...
4) Core DC594SH Purple Smokeburst, stock; stored in Wash. D.C. at my drummer's house so my buddy can play a badass guitar every band reunion.
5) Core SC594 Dark Cherry Burst, straight stock with TCI 58/15LTs---a more focused, balls-to-the-wall rock & roll beast with excellent cleans.
6) THIS BEASTLY AXE. Just in another world by itself. PRIVATE STOCK. QUILT. SUPERNOVA. BRAZILIAN NECK AND BOARD. CURLY MAPLE BINDING. STINGER. LOOK AT THAT F^CKING SUPERNOVA! THAT MAHOGANY. IT'S SO OUTER SPACE. DAMN!!!! IT'S PATRIOTIC TO THE UNIVERSE. IT'S SO 2112, SHEEZUS!!!! FORK ME.
Real curious how this new one with the Braz neck stacks up using the TCI LT 58/15s. In my experience somewhat hotter pickups work best with Braz necks like 59/09s. Never tried BKP Mules though.

We will see for sure. I've recently re-discovered how the 58/15LT pickups take dirt and boosts incredibly well, too. Their rolled back tones are divine. They might just be perfect. Too bad there aren't any covered 59/09 in the field or I might test it one day.

You know when it's 2:00 AM, you just got done shredding out in preparation for a pair of really important gigs, you're feeling like a badass because you actually played really good tonight. You know, THAT feeling. Whiiiiich mayhaps could inspire a bout of Reverb guitar porn. Whiiiiich could reveal in this particular moment, one of the most sensational lifetime achievement axes you've ever laid eyes on. LIKE EVER. AAAAAND it's "in 3 other carts" (probably fake, but who cares, you're BADASS, AM I RIGHT???) And then you carefully review every single painstaking studio shot over and over again, noticing more, more and more details and BAMTAKEMY MONEYBEFOREITALKMYSELFOUTOFITLIFEISSHORTANYWAYWHOGIVESANAIRBORNE4>CKIFITPLAYSMEMORETHANIPLAYITPAULMAKESTHEBESTLIKEIMEANTHEBESTGUITARSINTHEWORLDESPECIALLYTHISONEIVENEVERSEENANYTHINGLIKEITDONEDONEANDDONEBABYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!

Yep. More to come...sooner than later....
My eyes had a stroke trying to read all this, but it totally worked, cause now I'm so eager to see this guitar so fitted for a badass!

Right? Brian said they made the call to spray the whole thing to avoid finish contrast with the gloss stinger. Fine by me.
Ah, that makes sense. I was going to do a stinger on my P245T build but they talked me out of it for that reason. I prefer RW necks not to have any nitro on it. But mostly because I’ve never tried one with nitro on it!

I'll let you know what I think. I have a P24 with a bald RW neck and I never took to it. This could be a best-of-both-worlds scenario for me. We'll see...this afternoon....

It arrived. It's here in the box. Do I break the 24 hour rule........
I would also look at where it arrived from. If it traveled cross country in a jet, it was exposed to a good 6 hours in a very cold cargo bay of a plane. I would say cut the rule in half! Can't wait to see your photos!!! The store photos are great, but seeing it in it's new home will be a treasure!

I cracked the box, opened it, and grinned a toothy grin. WOW.

I played it a bit and I'm not sure whether this has slightly thicker body proportions, it almost feels like SC thickness. The neck has more girth, possibly owing to the nitro. The sound is mega, it is so compressed-sounding naturally, and the sustain is real. It's unstable from travel at the moment, so it was going out of tune quite a bit. Will test more tonight and tomorrow. The nitro stickiness needs to go, I'll have to consult on how to best resolve that, but this thing is a KNOCKOUT. GOOD LORD, HONEY!!!! BAWOOOOOOGAAHHHH!!!!!!!
