Hello all this is my first post on here and I'm after some advice please.

I have a telecaster 52 reissue hotrod and have been offered a straight swap for a Santana III.
For a start is it worth the swap?
Also what do I need to look out for? I would post pics of the PRS but I'm in work at the moment all j can say about it is, is that its a blue stain with covered humbuckers and at the back of the headstock if I remember rightly it has 6 10 written in it maybe more numbers.
Also there is a chip down the the wood just behind the jack plug could this be repaired?

Here's the guitar in question

Definitely sounds like a great swap for you. S III's are great guitars, and are truly all Santana. The only thing I'd say to watch for is that some were a bit heavy, well in excess of 9 lbs. I had one like that, but it still played and sounded heavenly. If it were in the 8 lb. range, I might still own it.

Looks like a good deal for you if evel bay is to be believed.

I LOVE the Santana 3 great guitar but very different from your Tele spec wise
Shorter scale and 24 frets ( 24.5") and a flatter radius ( think tis one was 11. 5 )
Think of this guitar as the best SG ever made :)
