How is the action raised on a PRS SE Hollowbody ll Piezo?
I dont need more relief in the neck I just want a higher action.
currently it is about 1.2 mm at the 12th fret and there is a lot of
string buzz on the E string and a little on the A string. The guitar has the
stock 10 ga strings that it shipped with. Its always had some but seems to be getting
worse. The guitar is in a room with about 45 % humidity , maybe even a little higher.
I tried google and searching the forum but could not find anything.
Thanks
J

Loosen the strings so they are floppy as can be and then use the thickest pick you have to loosen the bridge posts until you're happy. May need to loosen the intonation allen screws, not sure if the Piezo has that like my SE Hollowbody Std does. Just loosen them one full turn so you can get them back where they were after you have the action set.

Which direction do you turn the bridge posts to raise them? Clockwise or counterclockwise?
