PRS S2 Studio Pickup/Wiring Question

Question about the middle position setting please : This setting works the bridge and neck pickup....

.......but do you consider this setting for the middle position superior to a possible wiring where the middle setting activated solely the middle single coil ?

I personally like the hum cancelling of the neck/ bridge middle setting. I also flat out like the combo. YMMV, on what I believe is the most underrated, misunderstood PRS. They don’t sound like any other guitar.

I’m very interested in modding my S2 Studio to get that middle pickup alone, but don’t want to lose the bridge/neck combo, either. Great, great guitar, should be a regular production model.
