Hi,
I recently bought a McCarty 594SE and was thinking about swapping the nasty plastic covers on the back for some shiny carbon fibre ones.
I noticed there is foil on the back of the pick up selector switch cover. I guess for some kind of shielding?
If I’m replacing the cover with a solid carbon fibre one, would it be necessary to replace the foil backing? I would have thought the carbon fibre itself would provide enough shielding?
Any thoughts?
