What's just as interesting lately are dynamic EQs - dynamics can be applied to the eq in various frequency bands.

I've read a little about this and yes, it sounds very interesting!

Same here, but it's completely justifiable. First, adding flavors to the OD your amp has for solos. Second, adding more flavors that your amp doesn't have by using the pedals with the clean channel.

And you know how us guitar players like lots of flavors!
