Orange Tiger Smoke burst vs. Black Gold Burst finishes?

How close in color are these two finishes? I'm looking at adding another Core Custom 24 to the arsenal. I've slimed it down to a Orange Tiger Smoke Burst, and a Black Gold Burst Custom 24. The problem is, that these two finshes on both guitars look exactly a like in the pictures as far as the finishes go. Does anyone by chance have side by side pics so I can see the color differences?

Black Gold is brown perhaps, while Orange Tiger is basically orange.

They appear similar especially, but - again - Black Gold is obviously a brown shade, and this difference is noticeable (if you're not color blind).

Yes.. straight Orange Tiger.. forget the burst thing. Natural back…. You’ll get nicer back and neck woods as well..
Copperhead is great as well… (shown in my avatar)

Here’s a pic of my custom in black gold. It’s more yellow and brown than the orange that’s in the tiger finish. However lighting affects the tone of the color greatly so that could be throwing off your comparisons online.

When did they discontinue Orange Tiger? They're still selling Studios in that colour but have been told that colour was discontinued I just want to make sure this isn't an old guitar being sold at a new price
