The P90’s are really awesome for some things and not so great for others. So far, I paired it with a Marshall (amplitude sim) and it is killing old Black Sabbath and Bad Religion tones. Anything with higher gain (Deftones, Metallica, or Mastodon with Mesa/Peavey sims) sound a bit thin. Basically anything with palm mutes does not work well for me. With that said, I specifically got it to use with a Marshall for more of a gnarly punk rock (Bad Religion) tone and it kills! I am very happy with it. It is a great compliment to my Tremonti and other 594’s.
