It plays great! One of my bandmates (acoustic rhythm guitarist) seems to really like it - he has been experimenting with bass as a second (third?) instrument for a while, playing stand-up double bass and a bass uke. Now when we jam/practice at my place he seems to find an excuse to pick it up pretty quickly...

And amusingly, the photos in the first post now appear correctly, despite me doing nothing different. Sigh, probably Photobucket weirdness.

Kingfisher is a monster bass. I think about modding mine from time to time for fun but haven't gotten around to it.
