Custom 24 acquired! Picture doesn’t capture how nice this top is. PRS are addicting….I started with a 594 and now this is #5 lol. Back on the hunt for the modern eagle now, need to complete the mission! You all were right...I think I need both

I don't know that I can tell a difference between Ash and mahogany back to be honest. I can say there is a difference in tone between the Custom 24, but unfortunately I'm not really good with the words to describe the difference. I guess I would lean towards more rock with my CU24 and pretty much almost anything with my MEV. Then you have the difference with the 24 vs 22 frets. Literally, I stumbled upon a sweet single coil sound on my MEV that made me go "huh? Holy cow!"
