Mark Tremonti talks gear

I'm looking forward to the new Alter Bridge release this year!

I will say that I am cautiously optimistic and hopeful. I have faith but, the problem is Michael Baskette ruining their sound in the studio. He makes them sound sterile and overly polished, and they don't realize it.

Tubescreamer into a rectifier.... wuuuut?

He has always had some kind of an Overdrive pedal. In the old days, it was a Klon Centaur. Then, it was a Michael Angelo Batio pedal. I think he even used a TS808 long before the current TS9HW

I've never heard of Mark using that. Sounds amazing though.

And that's the first time I've heard a fuzz that I kinda like.

I have 3 problems with the Sequoia
1 I don't have one
2 I can't afford one
3 I see it has a soft and hard setting. I love a wide variety of dirty tones so, I would need two of these.

Mark only used it for a short time, I know his tour manager , Tim, he tried one of my pedals and liked it , I gave Fret 12 a run of pedals for there artists and got some good feedback but it ended there, Mark liked the pedal but I couldn't produce it at a cost he was happy with and still be made in the US

Matterhorn and Little Big Horn are a fun pedals my Fuzz pedals are more of a Fuzz and OD mixed together so more controllable

I have 3 problems with the Sequoia
1 I don't have one
( I may still have one or two around )
2 I can't afford one
( Even at list they were less than $200 and the friends and forum members discount made them very reasonable )

The Soft setting is the Aurora Borealis pedal and the Hard is the Killmnjaro pedal all balled up into one pedal, Thought it would sell like hotcakes but most guitar folks have a hard time trying new things.

The pedal business is really tough low margins high costs and these days with killer multi channel anps and Profilers and modelers most folks don't need pedals like they used to
I don't have a business anymore for them , but I think I still have parts laying around if someone had to have one at the moment I think CRGTR has the only complete original set.
