LSR Roller Nut on SE Silver Sky...has it been done?

I haven't seen it done. I am not a fan of that nut at all so I wouldn't do it.
Worked great on my 93 Strat Plus, it’s a cool design. If the dimensions work, I’d see it as an upgrade. Curious to see how it works for you.

I haven't owned a guitar with one but it seems like it would be fun to have at least one guitar set up that way.

Seems like Jeff Beck had the LSR Roller Nut on all of his Strats.

Unfortunately at 1 11/16", it turns out that it's 1/16" too wide for the SE Silver Sky.

I'd have to file 1/32" off of each end. Probably doable.

The string spacing lines up very close to the SE SS nut's string spacing.

I had a Tele + in the ‘90’s with Lace pickups, trem and roller nut, fitted as standard. Swamp Ash body and nice flame neck.

Sold it to buy a Gold Top.

The roller nut worked really well.

Heck Paul has made a roller nut for this guitar -

If you look at the roller nut install instructions for a Strat you remove material closest to the headstock so it looks to be easier to do than a standard Silver Sky, You could also look at a Brass Nut and the Alembic Blaster and do a copy of the latest JM Silver Sky.
