K&k pickup instead of piezo hollow body?

Anybody ever tried that? I like the sound of the piezo hollow body guitars. I'm wondering how it would sound with a transducer pickup instead of a piezo. Would it even be possible to get my hands inside the guitar to do something like that? I generally prefer the sound of the k&k pure mini pickup when playing acoustics.Just brainstorming if anyone has any experience with that. Thanks

I have factory installed undersaddle Fishmans with volume and tone preamp in my Breedlove guitars and K&K's in my Taylors.

I much prefer the sound of the Fishmans with the soundhole volume and tone controls.
