Definitely a requirement. Two wrecks within 1/2 mile of my house. Then 3 big ones on the highway. One two cars away at the airport. I hope everyone is already at their party by the time I start home.

Yes it's not been great, as apart from the appalling domestic and international situation we lost my father-in-law in June so it's been hard, especially on his 90-year old wife. However things are getting worked out so here's to a better, more hopeful, and positive (as well as twanging/rockin'l 2024!

Happy New Year to All!
2023 was a year of recovery for my wife and I. We lost My F-I-L, my favourite S-I-L, my mother, and three long time pets in the previous 14 months to end 2022. Plus we got the Covid last December for the grand finale to end the year. I lost my sense of taste and it still hasn't come back. However...
Onward and upward in 2024.
What better way to kick off a new year than to buy another guitar I don't really need? I can't seem to think of one. Soooo....I found one. It is for sale at an independent music store in Duncan BC that is re-opening on the 4th as a new Long & Mc Quade. I have contacted my local L&M about buying it and picking it up locally. I haven't heard back yet, but I am hopeful I can pull this off.

New Year hopes and wishes to all. We made it to midnight, but certainly wasn't rowdy at all. Some folks across the bay shot off some fireworks, that was good enough for me. Seems my days of late night frivolities are long passed.
