H head for bass

At yesterday's audition, I put my Paisley H atop the ported cabinet with a vintage Altec Lansing 15" for the bassist, Adam.
He plays a 5 string with the low string at B.
We played at a decent volume.
The tube warmth and 50 watts gave a warm sound with plenty of headroom and clarity.

Super clean and remarkably articulate.

I would think the H head would work fine for bass

Adam, the bassist, sold the 5 string and has brought his 4 string old Fender out of retirement.
The drummer says the bass and amp combo is the best he's ever heard.
