Okay I just got my PRS Singlecut back from my guitar tech
and its giving me chill bumps
The sound is amazing

If you remember this was a cheap impulse buy
it was filthy and needed cleaning up
it had cheap GHS retrotron pickups in it that left a lot to be desired
So I spent one day cleaning and polishing
I changed the tuners to to PRS locking tuners
My tech put in some Pearly Gates pickups
polished the frets and did a good setup

This thing sounds amazing!

We discussed a Tonepros Wraparound bridge
so that may be in the future
We decided to try this as is for now

Before you give that a go, try the brass studs. There extremely cheap so even if you don’t notice a difference (and you will) that may be all you wish to do. Not that the TonePros is a bad choice either. Cheers

They’re the wrong radius. PRS/WMI used them for a minute on SEs.

Your (high) E and B strings will pop outta the saddle groove on bends and your action will be lower on the middle strings than the two E strings.

The locking studs are cool though.
