Cracked humbucker rings on old PRS guitars

One thing I noticed about my pickup rings, and maybe someone with more guitars can confirm, on my CE24/CU24, they are flat, on my CU22, they are angled. I can't tell from your pic but yours look flat. Are they all flat and maybe the ones on my CU22 are after-market?

The rings on my '95 CU22 are slightly angled and there is not much difference in the ht. of the two.

Not as dramatic an angle as they would be on a Les Paul or as big a difference in ht. as on a Les Paul.

They are more or less flat on my '97 CE22.

And like I said, it turns out what I thought was a'93 CE22 is actually a '97 CE22.

Those can be beautiful but I like the cream rings. Reminds me more of a '59 Les Paul, especially with that cherry sunburst top.

The CE bodies were still Alder in 93’. I had one a few years ago.

Turns out this one is a '97. But it looks like alder more than it does mahogany. Maple neck and alder body...like a 60's Strat!
