Band in a box software

Sorta like the backing track thread, yet this software seems to allow you to roll your own backing tracks / songs.

Throw in a bunch of chords, pick a style, and the software spits out a complete song(s) based on your input.

It's not quite as simple as that, but I was curious if anyone has any experience or thoughts on this product? ('Cause it aint cheap)

I don't know too much about this product.

Could be useful for knocking out quick BT's but I wonder if it could be restrictive in the long term?

Can you get add on packs for it?

If you have a Mac, GarageBand has a feature called 'Magic GarageBand' that is pretty much like this.
