59/09 + HFS

Anyone have any experiencing mixing these two? I ordered a neck 59/09 on a whim because I saw a killer price online. Plan on using it with the HFS in the bridge of a CU24 with rotary. VB was ok but I was never really thrilled with it. Would like to hear if anyone has tried this setup before and if the "in-between" sounds are ok?

Funny thing is after measuring all my guitars the neck pickups vary only little ( 7.5-8.5ohm) and to be honest all the buckers sound pretty much the same ( #6,VB,Dun36,57/08) the real difference seems to be scale length and between 22 and 24 fret.
I see no reason the 59/09 would not sound killer with the HFS

I use a 5708 in the neck of my CU 24 with a Suhr Aldrich in the bridge. It's like a HFS as far as heat but more like the 08/09s as far as clarity.

I had a 5909 bridge in my McCarty when it was tuned to Eb and it was fabulous.
