40th Anniversary Model Speculation/Wish List?

Bring back the birds in flight, but with the appropriate birds on the right frets. There were too many peregrine falcons on the 20th. Love the idea and my 20th CU22 looks fantastic with them, but there is marginal room for improvement.

And further; I'd like to see what they come up with. Maybe a "wood innovation" like Taylor does (use of ovankol) and more use of sustainable growth wood. That would be great in my green book.

Id love if they did birds in flight MEV. Im waiting for my MEV and id wait longer if it meant i could just get a 40th. 30th anniv was slightly underwhelming minus the really nice binding on the boards. 35th i think only just added the -08 switching.

I wouldn't turn away a Custom 22 Semi Hollow with some new or unique bird inlays In a rosewood board
How about dirty moons?

Custom 24-08 with Regular neck carve and some retro solid colors: Magenta Pearl, Pearl White, Seafoam Green, Canary Yellow...

For the 40th, I'd like: A 12/6 doubleneck, maybe skip the trem on the 6er, 22 true jumbo frets, and that incredible new lighter, brighter blue finish that just came out. Quilt, Black tuning keys, black hardware, and...why not...a way to separate it into two guitars just for the hell of it. (JK on the separation)

I always like what they do on their anniversary runs, and I'll be surely interested in the Custom 24 variant, being it's my go-to model.

That being said, I honestly feel like it's time to do an SE Dragon...especially with how much the company has been investing in that line lately. I think now is a wonderful time to do it.

Is anybody ready for a $5000 SE?
