245 SE Flamed Maple $350, good buy?

Stumbled across this, not sure what they are new, the flamed maple actually loos nice. Not so keen on gloss neck, but I guess there are ways to fix that... I think its the Charcoal Burst model

The Dave Navarro is $500usd there abouts, not sure which is the better buy.

Yes, yes, and yes. I bought one for a similar price. One of my most played guitars, even though I prefer a thinner neck profile and have others that cost quite a bit more. Neat thick sounding singlecut guitar without being the historic brand. More comfortable for me to hold and play. Others might have a different and ok opinion.

great player. love the wide/fat neck, and it never feels sticky to me with the gloss finish. versatile pickups in my opinion. have had mine since 2012, so not sure how the newer "S" pickups sound, if that is what they are. picked mine up new at sweetwater for $400. got lucky on price.

Just got one for that price. If you want the neck to feel slick, about 8 coats of Meguiar’s cleaner/car wax will do it. The 245 punches way above its price class.
