Hi! Recently purchased a new cu24(2021 model). I immediately noticed a small ridge in the lacquer following the entire seam in the maple top.
Not a big thing but noticeable when looking closely.
I have a 2021 DGT and have also had several custom 24's and 594's in the past. I have never seen this...
I have the same experience regarding the weight distribution. I have had two 594's where the center of mass made the guitar slide backwards when playing seated. Ended up trading them. I recently found a 2018 model at app.3.5 kg that feels perfect when playing seated.
Yesterday i finally decided to clean the 58/15 covers on my one year old custom 24. There was sign of oxidation or whatever on both pickups.
First i tried guitar polish. This polish has no abrasive components but still worked on one pickup cover. On the other one it had no effect.
