I agree with the OP, I can't stand the lampshades on my DGT either. They just don't match the vintage vibe that PRS is going for IMHO. Also, I would like to see a higher bridge-pickup mounting rings for the treble pickup on the 594 models. YMMV.

Can accomplish whatever the show calls for on any of my guitars, however each has it's own vibe. I find that single coil vs humbucker has a profound affect sometimes on what I might gravitate to and whether or not I'm at home playing or doing a show.
