Thanks. That's interesting ahow the same pickups can sound good/bad in neck/bridge positions on different guitar. Also worth nothing, is consistency on these import pickups may not be that great, and one set perhaps could sound significantly different from another "same" set. Quick question...

Well I figured it would effect the sound some, just surprised the pickup change alone was not enough. I thought trem upgrades more more for better tuning stability and trem responsiveness. I've never upgraded one.

Why did you upgrade the trem? Just curious. Was there issues? I am having no tuning issues, or intonation or anything. AS far as pickups, I was thinking of 57/08’s originally but the 58/15s that it came with sound so good already to me. No need.

I've been pretty happy with my SE custom, except for a few things. There was minor paint imperfections, Normal I guess for a made in indonesia guitar, the tone knob came slightly crooked. Turned out the stem holding the knob, came slightly bent, I don't know if its actaully bent or if it was...

And by the way I want to add that the Ax20e is fucking amazing. Like holy crap is it ever a pleasure to play, and it sounds so good. Like so so good. What a guitar!

Do you know if the SE locking tuners would work on this guitar? I have them on my Custom 24 SE and love them. Plus I think it would look kind of bad ass on an acoustic and making string changes easy, (even if it's not "tradional"). Would they still be a direct drop in? Is this a stupid idea?

Ended up getting the X20e. All PRS acoustics are hard to get here, but i was lucky enough to get one off Reverb. It sounds (to me) much like a Taylor around the same price range, like Academy, or 114, 214 or something, but with a tad more low end, and it's own "prs sound" and better playability...

I found a used Sananta (older model I believe). Looks in good condition, I don't think it originally had coil split, but it was upgraded to have it, and with Dragon 2 pickups, coil split, and tuners. Asking, the equivalent, of $620 USD. Keep in mind, things a generally a little more pricey...
