My ce is going out of tune cause my style is using the bridge with my palm. I want to put a trem block any suggestions. I saw this one. Would it work, Shred neck trem block

You want to block your trem so it no longer functions?

You could just deck it and tighten the springs around the back.

Or block it with a chunk of wood.
I do but not permanently. Most sets I don’t use it but some songs I do. So wanted an easy temp fix

Get some of those sticky back felt pads that go on the feet of furniture to stop them scratching the floor. I've stuck one of those to the trem block in the narrow gap between the block and the body, then I tightened the claw slightly. This way you have a dive-only trem but because the pad is soft there's no knocking sound as the trem returns level like you would get with a piece of wood in there. Works a treat for me and will solve your issue as the pad won't let the bridge move under the pressure of your palm.
