Hammer Of The Gods

Absolutely......I acquired one other that passed through there (which might be even better than the "Hammer"). I am going to have to try to block Pete's posts........

Oh, WTH, so long as y'all like pretty pix......

Sorry to derail!

Dude! That is spectacular!

I still have 3 (and a cabinet) that have rolled through that testing ground!

That’s a beautiful one-piece quilt. Thanks for sharing:D

HOLY SH!T! That just made me cry a little
..man that is beyond words! This is exactly why I try not to look at the PS threads...THAT COLOR IS GLORIOUS!

My Hammer of the Gods is a koa 7-string (sadly not PRS).

My PRSi are:
The Angry Princess (pink Tremonti)
The Fairy Rockmother (emerald SC)
The Beauty and the Beast (VY P245 with 85/15)
The Sickle of the Reaper (Cherry HBII with 57/08)
Clearing I’m out of the running in the name game. I have simple things like Eywa, Juju, Viola...

I just made these up...

I've never named a guitar.

You are wasting your gift bro....those are awesome! I think you should be the official "giver of names" for the forum...

So far, I have named two....I named my beater acoustic "The Hooptie" and my Chris Robertson Sig is affectionately known as...."The Fat Kid"...that's all i got...hmmm. I'm feeling very inadequate all of the sudden....

Well that, sir, is mighty spectacular!!! I love it.

Wow, didn't realize it was PS. Cool!

At the time, PRS hadn’t come out with the 594, which, confusingly enough, is called the McCarty Singlecut 594!

I got mine in 2014, if memory serves.

So there’s a McCarty Singlecut, a PS-only model, and the McCarty Singlecut 594, a model that can be Core, WL or PS. I don’t blame ya one bit for mixing them up!

I've read enough sci-fi and fantasy that I could give some pretty obscure names.

Except for The Hammer Of The Gods, I’ve never named a guitar where the name stuck! Somehow that one popped into my head and stayed.

I just refer to the rest of them by model name or color. I’m a very boring person!

...me too. I’ve got that one, that one, that one over there...etc.

I’m going to think of some names for my other ones.

I’ve tried this before, by the way. Hasn’t worked.

But I’ve reached that stage of life where there’s not much difference between making important decisions and making goofy decisions. So no harm in trying again!

That's the spirit Les! I have learned to embrace the easy descisions these days. It has taken a lot of getting used to. The toughest one I have to make now is, when I'm asked what I would like for dinner.
