When The Mushok Finally Works For You...

I've had a Mushok bari for years but am just now accepting that i do not have the patience to learn to play BEADGB.

So i tuned it to BEADF#B and my world changed

Oh yeah, I tune in Std A and Std B on my two baritones. There is next to no use for BEADGB on a six-stringer. (For me.)

Now, on a 7 stringer, you can choose BEADGBe or BEADF#Be depending on how you want to approach your chording - a regular six stringer with a low B, or a down-tuned six stringer in B Std with a high e?

Now, on a 7 stringer...

Well the good news is that i have so little skill to distribute across 6 strings that spreading them out over 7 is completely out of the question

I use Eb standard, but tuned down to A or B.
