I was wondering if anyone on here knows whether the Torero in Black Cherry is really worth $300 more than the Torero in Scarlet Red? I don't have the option to sit with them side by side and test, so I was hoping maybe some of you could help me understand why the major price difference?

If I go on guitarcenter.com it looks like I could get the Black Cherry but it's like (actually) $400 more (not $300). I just can't believe a different finish would be worth so much more. If someone tells me it's higher grade wood, or some select cut that makes the resonance and sustain incredibly better ok ...but to spend $400 more because it looks different? I'm sorry but I don't see the justification there. I'm thinking about calling PRS customer support and asking them why LOL
